A cryptocurrency is a digital currency whose creation and control is based on cryptography, i.e. it is tamper-proof. It is most often decentralised and runs on blockchain technology. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency with the largest capitalisation so far. Ether (Ethereum) is now in second place, with Ripple in third place – the only cryptocurrency that is not based on blockchain technology.

In the last year, the topic of cryptocurrencies has become one of the most popular, there are a lot of publishers, channels in messengers and on youtube, where they tell how to make money from digital money.
